Matthew 8:18-22 “THE COST OF FOLLOWING JESUS CHRIST”

As though to give us a break from his revelation of the King’s Power as we saw last time, in today’s passage the Apostle Matthew brought out what you’d call a discipleship moment, giving us Christ’s communication with two, who, upon his decision to move to the other side of the sea of Galilee didn’t want to stay behind, and had a mind to follow him, not as others, who were his followers at large, after the many healings told to us in verse 16.
